Ponencia: What’s next? Revisiting ludic activities in the classroom
Sometimes, teachers’ methodology and approach in the classroom gets monotonous for multiple factors (tiredness, class schedule, days, personal reasons, among others). Consequently, boredom may impact on our students’ attention, and a possible answer to cope with this issue, it may be ludic activities. There are some authors (Boza & Charchabal, 2021; Nascimento, 2017; Lauricella & Edmunds, 2022; Vázquez, 2017) who invite and foster the use of active dynamics and games with students and subsequently, the classroom environment could be positively influence on their attention, performance, and motivation. After the Pandemic, some teachers tend to rely on the use of technologies to improve their teaching, but sometimes the lack of internet and/or devices could limit their potential in some schools. Therefore, this workshop may help you to revisit some activities that you might already know or present some others that may be new for you. In addition, in this workshop the attendees will be able to know some activities, games and dynamics and decide how they could be adapted to their learners’ necessities and context. Finally, the attendees can expect to raise awareness of the diverse possibilities that a teacher can conduct to make the classes more active and fun.
