Rafael Sarmiento, born in México City in 1976, is a film and music journalist. He works as a live commentator for the TNT channel (Discovery Warner Bros). He has covered relevant film festivals and several award shows like the Academy Awards (Oscars) in 24 occasions. He has nearly 25 years working in the media, where he has worked for TV chiefly. He has done radio and print jobs as well. Currently, he lives with his family in Madrid, Spain. He is also the bass player for the band Gigante Derry.
